TouchPro

The JD Design’s application TouchPro allows you to change (or touch) the file time attributes – you can touch the attributes with the current time and date, with the last saved settings, with the focused item’s time stamp, or manually. The nice thing about TouchPro is that it integrates with Windows Explorer. You will see a TouchPro entry in the right click context menu and in the Properties window. This means that you always have very easy access to the application’s functionality.

You can install TouchPro on a machine powered by anything from Windows XP SP3 and Server 2003 up to Windows 8 and Server 2012 (32 as well as 64-bit editions). The installation file is inside a lightweight archive – less than 1MB in size to be precise. Download the archive, extract and run the executable inside, click through the setup wizard, and moments later you will be done with the installation.

To access the application's interface and its functionality, you must right click a file and select the TouchPro option from the context menu. Alternatively, you must access the Properties window (right click file -> select Properties; select file and hit Alt + Enter) and click on the TouchPro tab. From the interface you can change the file time attributes, access some options and some extra options, and view the Help and About.

The TouchPro entry from the right click context menu presents these handy options: Touch with Current Time & Date, Touch with Last Saved Settings, and Touch with Focused item’s timestamp. From the Settings menu you can manually change the time attributes and choose what time attributes to change (created, modified, accessed time). You can also access a few options, but you should note that access to these options is restricted in the trial version.

Changing the file time attributes is a piece of cake with TouchPro.
